Why rural and underserved communities choose wireless over standard outdated legacy infrastructure.
Plug in and go — no infrastructure to your property
Carrier aggregation — stable, truly unlimited speed
Requires cable lines run to your address
Reliable where available — rarely available in rural areas
Requires phone lines; often not available rurally
Speed degrades with distance from the central office
Dish installation required; needs clear line-of-sight
High latency; sensitive to weather and obstructions
Relies on single-carrier signal; weak indoors
Throttled after threshold; wildly inconsistent

I just got it set up a couple of days ago and so far I am ecstatic about the service. Moved out into the east mountains of NM (east of Albuquerque) a bit ago and have been through several different services. Most of them gave mediocre at best speeds and were wildly inconsistent and required resetting the device at least daily but often multiple times a day. So far with Nomad I have excellent speed and am not constantly rebooting.
I have Nomad and love it, tried Hughes, Verizon MiFi, Synergy, Solis, Skyroam, attempted Starlink (big $$$ and can't have trees, not mobile) Nomad is the only one that allows me to stream, connect multiple devices; I have the travel plan so we can take it RV'ing. Try it you have nothing to lose — no contracts, no data limits. They now have different management, 24/7 call service, online chat w/repair, and more advanced equipment.
Best internet I've found out here in BFE. No throttling and I'm gaming and streaming with no problems. Large game updates that are like 165 gigs may take a day. Besides that I'm loving it. I was about ready to move because of the lack of internet. I'm good now.
Just did a speed test. Download is 155 Mbps and upload is 19.1 Mbps. We need to have internet for work and Nomad has been amazing for work, streaming TV, gaming and our Alexa. We have used it in several states with no issues. Extremely happy with the service and that there is no set up or take down on travel days and we don't have to worry about any obstructions.
Wireless home internet delivers broadband to your home over cellular networks — the same networks that power your smartphone — rather than through a cable buried in the ground or a phone line. You plug in a modem, connect your devices via WiFi, and you're online. There's no cable to run, no dish to mount, and no technician appointment to schedule.
Yes — that's exactly who Nomad is built for. If cable hasn't reached your neighborhood and your DSL connection is too slow to stream or work from home, wireless internet bypasses that infrastructure entirely. Nomad uses carrier aggregation across multiple networks to reach rural and suburban addresses where traditional providers have never invested.
Most customers see download speeds between 50 and 300 Mbps depending on their location. That's fast enough for 4K streaming, video calls, remote work, gaming, and multiple devices running simultaneously. Speeds vary by location — your specific signal environment determines your experience.
No data caps. No throttling. Ever. Truly unlimited means you can stream every night, work from home every day, and connect every device in your home without watching a data meter. Your 200th GB in a month delivers the same speeds as your first.
Yes. Nomad Internet supports Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Hulu, Prime Video, and every other major streaming service in HD and 4K. For remote work, it handles Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and large file transfers without issue. Many customers run a full home office on Nomad as their primary internet connection.
No. The modem ships to your door in 24 hours with simple plug-in instructions. Plug it into a power outlet, connect your devices to the WiFi network, and you're online. The entire setup takes about five minutes. No appointment. No cable run. No wait.
No contracts. Service is month-to-month. You can cancel at any time without a fee. Our Residential Plan ($99.95/mo) and Travel Plan ($129.95/mo) both run on a simple monthly billing cycle — no annual commitment required.
