I just got it set up a couple of days ago and so far I am ecstatic about the service. Moved out into the east mountains of NM (east of Albuquerque) a bit ago and have been through several different services. Most of them gave mediocre at best speeds and were wildly inconsistent and required resetting the device at least daily but often multiple times a day. So far with Nomad I have excellent speed and am not constantly rebooting.
I have Nomad and love it, tried Hughes, Verizon MiFi, Synergy, Solis, Skyroam, attempted Starlink (big $$$ and can't have trees, not mobile) Nomad is the only one that allows me to stream, connect multiple devices; I have the travel plan so we can take it RV'ing. Best internet I've found out here in BFE. No throttling and I'm gaming and streaming with no problems. Large game updates that are like 165 gigs may take a day. Besides that I'm loving it. I was about ready to move because of the lack of internet. I'm good now.
Just did a speed test. Download is 155 Mbps and upload is 19.1 Mbps. We need to have internet for work and Nomad has been amazing for work, streaming TV, gaming and our Alexa. I've been using Nomad for almost a year and a half now. Their service was easy to setup. I primarily use my internet for streaming shows, online gaming, and video business meetings. Nomad Internet is a great internet service provider. I had an issue with billing when my account was due on a Sunday. I expressed to Tech Support Rep Donald Vikers that I work from home and couldn’t afford to lose my job. He gathered information needed for the billing department and was able to get me an extension on my bill. Also was able to reconnect my services so that I could continue working. I’m overly grateful for his ability to go above and beyond. As well as take my issue with a sense of urgency. Thank you again Donald!
I was beyond frustrated with the service being out this long. To make matter worst I work from home! This disrupted my quality of work not to mention took time talking to person after person but today I had the help and support I needed. I've had great service with Nomad for our home wifi for a few years now. But I ran into a problem with the router at my office. I was able to reach tech support by text and Donald was a big help! He went through all the troubleshooting steps with me and determined the router was defective. He offered to send a replacement right away and explained the return process. Donald was very helpful!
